Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program
Fresh, Healthy Food Is in Season!
The Riverside County Office on Aging is now distributing $50 Farmers' Market EBT Cards to eligible older adults through the 2026 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). These benefits can be used at authorized Certified Farmers' Markets to purchase fresh California-grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs.
Card distribution is available August 4 through August 31, 2026, while supplies last. Benefits must be used by November 30, 2026. Eligible participants must be 60 years or older, meet income guidelines (185% of the Federal Poverty Level), and may receive one card per season.
Program Overview:
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a federally funded program that provides low-income seniors with access to fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown produce, cut herbs, and raw honey.
Program Eligibility:
- 60 years of age or older
- Household annual income does not exceed more than 185% of poverty level
- Has not already received 2026 SFMNP Benefits

Card Distribution Schedule
Card distribution events are scheduled to take place beginning August 4 through August 31, 2026, while supplies last. Events will be held at senior and community centers throughout Riverside County. As a reminder, benefits must be used at Certified Farmers' Markets by November 30, 2026.
