The Advisory Council on Aging is a dedicated group of volunteers made up of Riverside County residents from diverse backgrounds. The Council seeks to build a membership reflective of the County's population demographics and to include individuals eligible for older adult services, low-income individuals, representatives of healthcare and social service providers, local elected officials, veterans, and members of historically underrepresented groups. 

Council members are expected to actively participate in meetings, join Council committees, serve as community ambassadors, and fulfill reporting and administrative duties. Upon their appointment, Advisory Council Members commit to serving the Council for a three-year term.
