Interested in Volunteering?
The Office on Aging offers information and assistance with public transportation to volunteers who transport older adults, along with program and services designed to encourage disabled and older adults to be socially engaged, including a host of community-based volunteer opportunities, through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Volunteering is a good way to engage in your community and build new skills. In addition to volunteering with local community partners, the Office on Aging is involved in special and one-time events that require volunteers as well. There is no long-time commitment and you decide when and what you want to volunteer for!
