Stay Steady, Stay Safe: Fall Prevention Tips

In partnership with Riverside University Health System, the Office on Aging is raising awareness about falls and promoting easy steps to prevent them, while enhancing your overall health and well-being.

Watch our Fall Prevention Program videos to learn simple exercises and tips that can help you avoid falls and stay healthy:
 
  1. Introduction to Fall Prevention: Learn the basics of preventing falls and fall-related injuries.
  2. Home Safety Assessment: Understand fall risks that exist at home and improvements you can make for a safer environment.
  3. Tai Chi for Fall Prevention: Learn how Tai Chi can benefit your physical and mental well-being.
  4. Gait and Balance Training: Improve your gait and strengthen your balance with easy to learn techniques.
  5. Chair Exercises for Limited Mobility: Enhance your balance and reduce stress through chair yoga exercises.
  6. Strength Exercises: Build strength through simple, home exercises to help prevent falls.
