Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program
Program Overview:
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a federally funded program that provides low-income seniors with access to fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown produce, cut herbs, and raw honey.
Program Eligibility:
- 60 years of age or older
- Household annual income does not exceed more than 185% of poverty level
- Has not already received a 2025 SFMNP Farmers’ Market Card

New Updates
- Beginning in 2025, the SFMNP no longer provides physical vouchers and now uses Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, called Farmers’ Market Cards.

How Do I Receive Benefits?
To learn more about to receive SFMNP benefits, submit your contact information using the online questionnaire below. Please note that submitting your information does not guarantee you will receive benefits.
Benefits are limited and distributed in person on first-come, first -served-basis.
Once your information is submitted, your local Area Agency on Aging will contact you with more details about benefit distribution in your area.
Completion of this questionnaire is required to receive benefits in San Francisco, Sacramento, Riverside, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties

Authorized Farmers' Markets
As of 8/15/25 SFMNP cards can ONLY be used at the attached Farmers' Markets. Please note: Not all vendors are able to accept the Electronic Benefits. Please confirm prior to shopping with each vendor if they are currently accepting SFMNP benefit cards.
